Action Taken Report of ICAR-CRIDA on Swachhata Diwas organised on 1st and 2nd October 2023 .

1st October 2023: .

On 1st October 2023, Dr V. K. Singh, Director ICAR-CRIDA administered the swachhata pledge to the staff of the institute. About 100 staff members took Swachhata Pledge for keeping their surroundings neat and clean. After the Swachhata pledge, the staff of the institute participated in the Rangoli competition that was conducted for creating the awareness about the importance of Swachhata Mission. Following themes were assigned to the participants for the Rangoli competition. (i) Clean and Green India for progress and health, (ii) Swachhata begins at home, (iii) Young Indians leading the 'Swachh' movement, (iv) General themes related to Swachhata diwas.

On 2nd October 2023, Dr V. K. Singh, Director paid floral tributes /gratitude to the Father of the Nation and addressed the staff. During his address, Director stressed the importance of swachhata in our daily life and asked all the staff to keep the surroundings neat and clean. Later the staff participated in removing the debris, single use plastics, parthenium from the campus. Similarly, cleaning of the two farms ie Hayatnagar and Gungal Researach Farms where also carried out.
