A one-day training programme under the Rashtriya Karmayogi Janseva Programme was successfully conducted at ICAR–Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (ICAR-CRIDA), Hyderabad on 30 January 2026. The programme was attended by 27 participants.
The programme aimed to enable officers to rediscover the spirit of Seva Bhav and enhance their capacity to serve national goals and stakeholders more effectively with clarity, purpose, and sustained commitment
Dr Nagasree Principal Scientist (Ag Extension) ICAR CRIDA and Dr. Chitra Shankar, Principal Scientist (Entomology) ICAR IIRR are served as nodal officers and engaged enthusiastically all the staff members
Addressing the participants, Dr Nagasree ICAR CRIDA, emphasized the importance of Seva Bhav in public service and highlighted the need to balance inner power with positional authority in shaping a true Karmyogi
The training was structured into four modules, namely:
1.Who is a Rashtriya Karmayogi
2.Expanding our Vision of Success and Fulfilment
3.Creating Karmayogi Moments
4.The Rashtriya Karmayogi as a Nation-Builder
The sessions focused on values-based public service, personal and professional growth, and the role of Karmayogis in nation building. The programme included interactive discussions, assessments, and feedback sessions. The programme encouraged reflective learning, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving The training concluded successfully with active participation from all 27 trainees and generation of certificates.
