ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (CRIDA) Ranga Reddy webcasted the release of 16th instalment of PM KISAN funds by Hon'ble Prime Minister on 28th February 2024 as per directions received from Dr Ranjay K. Singh, Assistant Director General (Agricultural Extension), ICAR forwarded by ATARI-Zone-X.

On this occasion Dr. K. B. Sridhar KVK Head (In-charge) cum Senior Scientist (Agroforestry) along with the staff Sri. G. Srikrishna, Sri. P. Ramakrishna, Dr. D. Sudheer, Dr. S. Vijaya Kumar interacted with the farmers & farm workers explained about Central government schemes related to agriculture and allied activities. About 175 farmers, farm women, Agriculture, RAWE students, Sri. G. Rathnakar, NGO participated in the programme.

Later, the Live screening of release of 16th Instalment under “PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana” and interaction with farmers during the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s visit in Yavatmal, Maharashtra was telecasted using the link provided by the ICAR-SMD. While addressing the public gathering after the release of PM Kisan funds, he said, “Today, I pressed one button, and Rs. 21,000 crores of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi reached the accounts of crores of farmers. It is Modi’s guarantee that many irrigation schemes have been completed in the last 10 years, which will be the foundation of the next 25 years. “We are on a mission to build the nation to change the lives of people and vowed to develop each and every corner of India," said PM Modi.
