As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva campaign under the theme Swachchhotsav (स्वच्छोत्सव) being observed from 17th September to 2nd October 2025. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ranga Reddy District, ICAR–CRIDA, Hyderabad organized a cleanliness drive on the 29 th September 2025 at Farmer Guest House in the premises of KVK Ranga Reddy.

The programme with the theme “Campaign on Awareness on Cleanliness” emphasizing the importance of hygiene and maintaining a clean environment was conducted under the leadership of Dr. V. K. Singh, Hon’ble Director, ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad.

In this event, Smt. Sujata, ADA, Ibrahimpatnam; Smt. Shobha Rani, ADA, Amangal; and AOs, AEOs, and other field level officers of the department of Agriculture, Ranga Reddy district; Representatives of RAASI SEED and US SEED Works; NGOs, and Progressive Farmers also actively participated and motivated the gathering to adopt cleanliness as a way of life.

The Heads of Departments and Scientists of ICAR-CRIDA; Head of KVK; SMSs, Technical Officers, & Young Professionals of KVK; and the staff of HRF also participated in the event.

A total of 26 participants actively took part in the drive, reflecting their collective spirit towards promoting cleanliness and public health. The activities included sweeping, garbage collection, and proper disposal, along with spreading awareness among villagers about the significance of cleanliness for a healthy lifestyle and a sustainable environment.

The campaign reinforced the message that cleanliness is not only a responsibility but also a way to ensure community well-being and environmental sustainability.
