On 07.05.2026, KVK, Ranga Reddy-CRIDA organized Advocacy Programme on Balanced Use of Fertilizers and Crop Diversification” at Rythu Vedika, Shabad Mandal, Telangana.

The programme was attended by 125 farmers and farm women from the mandal. The programme was graced by chief guests Sri Narendar Reddy garu, Chairman, AMC Sardarnagar; Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy garu, Vice Chairman, AMC Gaddi Annaram; along with and other public representatives.

The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness on the importance of soil testing and balanced application of nutrients for improving soil health, enhancing crop productivity, and ensuring sustainable agricultural practices

During the programme, Shri G. Sri Krishna, SMS (Horticulture), sensitized the participants about the importance of balanced use of fertilizers, sustainable farming practices and efficient nutrient management in crops for improving soil health and productivity.

He also created awareness on crop diversification with horticultural crops to enhance net income and reduce risks in farming. The farmers actively participated and interacted with the officials and scientists regarding adoption of improved horticultural practices for sustainable livelihood improvement.
